The problem which is more face in cars in summer due to climate in Middle East region are over heating, air conditioner due to gas leakage or some time due to ac compressor.

Personally i had GMC Jimmy which infact caused both of the issue last summer, first of all the most important need in summer is car ac, some time when you take it to mechanic they will just fill up the ac gas and for a while it works well but after few days you are back to same condition. What i have learned while repairing these issue for my own car in last summer and the advice which i am going to mention will not only save your time but money as well.

Always go to to garage or mechanic who have AC GAS leak detector cause it will be more accurate and can pin point the cause of leakage, never ever pay more then 50 AED for checking via car leakage detector cause the equipment it self cost not more then 500 AED, personally i paid 150 AED and that is after discount cause i didn't know how much it worth.

Also checking the leak via detector is very simple but those steps are not known to most of mechanic in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, what i saw that they start checking the leak while filling up the gas which is not the way, the gas should be filled before checking up to specific pressure as mention on GAS leakage detector user manual. Once its done start up your car and turn on ac for 5 to 10mint and then let mechanic to check the leakage to pin point exact spot.
